About the client

The City of Utrecht operates a highly diverse fleet, ranging from garbage trucks to sweepers, and even the occasional passenger car. Due to the high variety in fleet types, the City of Utrecht was looking for a specialized expert to take over the entire fleet management and maintenance operations, focusing on availability of the equipment.

What Orion did

At the location of the client, Orion takes care of all the tasks related to the maintenance and repair of vehicles, in cooperation with a number of specialists from the region.
All vehicle types are maintained at the same location and Orion serves as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the City.
KPIs are focused on availability and costs, communicated to the client via OrionGrip.
As a partner, we also advice the City of Utrecht on lifespan extension of the fleet, and on sustainability measures to take.
During the latest customer satisfaction survey, the City awarded Orion with an 8.1/10.
